Maritimer Koordinator der Bundesregierung zu Besuch!

A special honour for Neptun Ship Design: We were delighted to welcome Dr. Christoph Ploß, the Federal Government Coordinator for the Maritime Economy, together with a high-level delegation, such as Georg Günther, Member of Parliament, and Dr. Reinhard Lüken from the German Shipbuilding and Ocean Industries Association, to our office in Rostock.

During the discussions with representatives from politics and the maritime industry, the focus was on key topics such as international competitiveness, the shortage of skilled professionals, as well as innovation and sustainability in shipbuilding.

As one of the largest naval architecture and engineering service providers in the maritime sector, with around 100 employees, Neptun Ship Design covers the full range of modern ship design and engineering expertise. First hand discussions with political decision-makers are an important and a valuable opportunity to help shape the future of our industry.

The visit highlights the vital role of medium-sized companies, the German Mittelstand, in the maritime economy, particularly in Mecklenburg-Western Pomerania and Northern Germany.
