SMM 2026 in Hamburg
Here are three of our key takeaways:

For our team, Matthias Lutter, Lars Oetting and Lasse Schroeder, there was never any question that we would be there. But SMM is about much more than exhibiting. We also encouraged our colleagues to embark on their own learning journey to Hamburg: to reconnect with partners and friends, exchange ideas, discover new players and gain first-hand insights into the trends shaping the future of our industry.

SMM once again provided the perfect setting to discuss our latest ideas and developments โ including our new ๐๐๐๐ ๐๐ฉ ๐ฃ๐น๐ฎ๐๐ณ๐ผ๐ฟ๐บ ๐๐ฒ๐๐ถ๐ด๐ป, covering a range from 900 to 1,100 TEU. JADE complements our container vessel portfolio in the feeder segment alongside our larger ๐ง๐ข๐ฃ๐๐ญ, ๐ฅ๐จ๐๐ฌ, ๐ฆ๐๐ฃ๐ฃ๐๐๐ฅ๐ and ๐ฉ๐๐ก๐จ๐ฆ designs.
We also presented and discussed our ๐จ๐ฆ ๐ฅ๐ถ๐๐ฒ๐ฟ ๐๐ฟ๐๐ถ๐๐ฒ ๐ฉ๐ฒ๐๐๐ฒ๐น and ๐ ๐ฃ๐ฃ ๐ฉ๐ฒ๐๐๐ฒ๐น concepts. There are very few occasions where so many conversations and feedback is provided that reaffirms our philosophy of designing flexible, innovative, and efficient vessels.

Reconnecting, cooperating and building strong partnerships were at the heart of our SMM experience. Bringing together different areas of expertise and new perspectives is key to creating real value for our customers.
We are therefore proud to work alongside MEYER RE on retrofit and conversion projects, with ALFRED Maritime GmbH on maritime digitalisation and to further strengthen our cooperation with our Indian partners of Buoyancy Consultants. Their highly skilled engineering teams will support us in our projects and we will work together by contributing to Indiaโs maritime strategy.
