New Heavy Lift Vessel for BigLift Shipping

The Heavy Lift Vessel “Happy S” is a sister vessel of the previously built and commissioned ship “Happy Star” from 2014 for BigLift Shipping, one of the world’s leading companies for international heavy lift and project cargo operations. The new ship will be built at Dalian Shipbuilding Offshore Co., Ltd, in Dalian, China and shall be delivered in 2028.

Neptun Ship Design is very proud to have designed this demanding vessel. Its main features and characteristics are two Huisman 1,100 mt heavy lift cranes, tandem lifts of up to 2,200 mt, approx. 18.000 tdw, a length of approx. 160 m and width of nearly 30m. Furthermore, it is designed in accordance with Finnish and Swedish 1 A Ice Class standards.
