Damen launches Combi Freighter CF 5000

Damen is pleased to announce that a new milestone has been reached in cargo shipping. The CF 5000 series has launched sucessfully.

These ships are being designed in close cooperation with Neptun Ship Design and incorporate the extensive experience of both in the construction of modern general cargo vessels in quality design.

CF 5000 has a hold of more than 60 m in length, capacity of 7,000 m³ and can carry up to 5,080 tonnes of cargo. It offers fully adaptable tween decks or bulkheads to make the large hold even more versatile. Heavy uniform loads on tank top are provided with15 tonnes per square metre together with layout for dangerous goods and possibility for loading aground.

Neptun Ship Design concludes by emphasising again the excellent cooperation achieved with Damen.
